Speciality: Laser and lens vision correction surgery, cataract surgery.
Mr. Wevill graduated from the University of Cape Town, became a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in Edinburgh and has been on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council for over 10 years.
He has developed a special interest in laser and lens vision correction surgery (Refractive surgery). He studied for and was awarded the diploma in Refractive surgery from the University of Ulster, and was also awarded the Certification in Refractive Surgery from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He has been doing laser and lens refractive surgery since 1996 and has done over 20,000 procedures.
He regularly shares his experience with his colleagues in scientific papers and presentations at national and international congresses and he has written many chapters for textbooks in the fields of cataract and refractive surgery.
