Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon

Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Southampton University Hospitals Trust since 2005. Mr Hossain trained at Aberdeen University, Nottingham and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami. He was awarded a Wellcome Trust Research Fellowship to investigate the mechanisms of ocular inflammation. Mr. Hossain specialises in corneal and anterior segment disease and leads a research team in Southampton.
