Keratitis - Inflammation of the front surface of the eye, the cornea, usually by infection but can also be caused by physical or chemical agents.

Keratoconus - A degenerative condition of the cornea which is characterised by reduced vision, high astigmatism, generalised thinning and a cone-shaped protrusion of the central cornea. It is often hereditary.

Keratometry - Measuring the radius of curvature of the cornea by using a Keratometer. This gives the degree of curvature of the cornea in astigmatism.
