Consultant Ophthalmologist

Consultant Ophthalmologist to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust since 1999. Mr Subramaniam trained at the highly regarded Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and is a leading specialist in refractive surgery. Since completing his training in refractive surgery in 2001, Mr Subramaniam has carried out more than a 1,000 refractive surgical procedures in the UK. He is a college tutor and examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Mr Subramaniam is also actively involved with the charity, "Second sight" providing free cataract surgery to poor rural villagers in Northern India.
