I attended the Optegra hospital in September 2010. Initially I went through a series of tests obtaining the correct prescription and identifying any problems that could in anyway effect my treatment. The equipment was obviously very new and state-of-the-art, that gave me a lot of confidence.
Once all the information was correlated, I met David Anderson who advised me to have the 'Lasik', I was concerned that with a very high prescription on -8 and -9 with astigmatism in both eyes that they may not be able to proceed.
The next day I returned for the vision correction, and was extremely impressed by the nursing staff, and the care and attention I received made me feel assured I was getting the best treatment.
The operation itself was not unpleasant and I was soon in the recovery room and reading the clock on the wall without glasses or contact lenses for the first time in over 40 years.
I am extremely pleased with Optegra and David Anderson and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is thinking about having laser treatment in the future.
