Job Overview

Due to expansion, we have a field-based Sales opportunity for a passionate, driven, successful ‘Service Promotion Executive’, to join our team. You will help us to build a large referral base of patients, through various referral partners – high street opticians, GPs, referral centres, etc. as we have done successfully in other parts of the country.

Optegra is a leading provider of Eye Health, to private and NHS client’s alike. We are passionate about providing excellent care, excellent customer services, and excellent results. Due to our success, both inside the UK and globally, we are expanding!

You will be the first point of contact for both existing and prospective referrers and are responsible for growing your referral base by building strong and robust customer relationships. As part of your role you will also visit referral management centres and GPs at their practices, where appropriate.

You will be promoting Optegra’s cataract services, excellent patient benefits, referral pathways and our 5 star hospitals. You will also promote and assist in co-ordinating our hospital optometrist events; co-management schemes and are required to attend customer meetings.

This role will suit an individual who is proactive, enjoys meeting new people, and is confident amongst senior and professional members of the ophthalmic community. Relying on self-motivation, you will manage your own diary, meetings and route planning. You will be required to work in close partnership with you allocated Optegra hospital, maintaining internal relationships and leveraging opportunities that arise within.


About You

  • Demonstrable sales experience, preferably within an Optometric/Optician role or within FMCG
  • Natural strong relationship builder with ability to work cross functionally
  • Be driven, high energy and a willingness to be successful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Full, clean driving license
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

  • Base salary of £25k
  • £5k car allowance
  • 50% on target performance bonus
  • Additional uncapped commission on referrals
