Miss Lee qualified from Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School. She undertook her ophthalmological training at the Western Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London with sub-specialist training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Past professional history:
Miss Lee is Consultant Ophthalmic & Oculoplastic surgeon at the Imperial College and London North West Healthcare NHS Trusts, UK, an Honorary Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Western Eye Hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Imperial College School of Medicine.

She has lectured and has many peer reviewed publications in her subspecialty.

Miss Lee is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a Founder Member of the British Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Society and a member of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. She is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Medical Contact Lens and Ocular Surface Association. She is actively involved in both postgraduate clinical ophthalmology training and has been the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Tutor at her Trust as well as lecturing and running modular teaching in Ophthalmology for the Imperial College School of Medicine for many years.
