Past professional history
Mr Panagiotis Theoulakis is a UK-trained surgeon with an experience of over ten thousand eye procedures. His subspecialty fellowships in both Anterior Segment and oculoplastics/lacrimal were at the Royal Free London, a teaching London Hospital, where he gained expertise in the management of a wide range of eye pathologies and complex eye surgery. Mr Theoulakis has worked as Consultant in the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, and was appointed as substantive Consultant at GWH NHS Trust.

He is one of selected UK surgeons accredited by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists with the Certification to perform Laser Refractive Surgery (CertLRS). He also holds a Doctorate (MD) focusing on anti-VEGF treatments of age-related macular degeneration from the prestigious University of Bern, the first European institution licensed to use Lucentis. With 20 publications in the peer-reviewed literature and regular attendance as trainer in international meetings, Mr Theoulakis maintains a strong interest in ophthalmic research and teaching.
