If you’re considering laser eye surgery
or lens replacement
you may feel a bit nervous at the prospect, which is completely understandable. Perhaps you have a lot of questions that you want answers to before you proceed with surgery, or need help to decide which treatment is right for you. If so, why not come along to one of our open evenings?
An Optegra open evening is a relaxed, informal way of finding out what you need to know. There is no obligation to book a consultation; merely the opportunity to see our facilities, listen to one of our world class consultant surgeons

What happens at an Optegra open evening?
Following our welcome and refreshments upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to sit and listen to a talk about our services, carried out by one of our ophthalmologists. You’ll then have the chance to ask any questions directly to an expert consultant. Our open evenings are very informal, so don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
You’ll also be able to go on a tour of our dedicated eye hospital and see our specialist facilities first-hand. This includes our consultation rooms, treatment rooms and recovery suite, so if you do decide to consider treatment with Optegra, you’ll see in advance that you’ll be in the very best of hands.
We have eye hospitals and clinics in locations right across England, and our open evenings are hosted every month, so book a slot and come and see what we have to offer for yourself. There is an opportunity at the end of every open evening to book a consultation
. These are free for laser eye surgery and involve a 1-2-1 session with one of our expert ophthalmologists.
If you’re in a rush, it can be useful to know what the timings are likely to be for our open evenings. To help you plan ahead, you can find the agenda for each event right here on our website. You will typically need to allow around an hour and a half in total, with the agenda typically running as follows:
