Discover more about laser eye surgery and lens replacement at an Optegra open evening

28 November 2019

Getting any kind of surgery is a big decision, so if you’re thinking of having laser eye surgery or lens replacement, it’s only natural that you’ll want to find out as much as you can about the treatments before making a decision. Doing your research over the internet has both pros and cons; on the one hand, there is a wealth of information available about laser eye treatments from the various providers, but on the other hand, the mass of information can be confusing, and it’s hard to know exactly what to believe.

Having a face-to-face conversation is often much easier for getting the information you need, and also gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have. This is where Optegra’s open evenings come in. We hold regular open evenings for both laser eye surgery and lens replacement, and they’re a great way to see our hospitals for yourself, meet our surgeons and find out more about whether our treatments could be right for you.

Take a look at our video below to find out more about open evenings with Optegra:

See our state-of-the-art eye hospitals for yourselfAt Optegra we have dedicated eye hospitals and clinics up and down the country which offer a range of treatments including laser eye surgery, lens replacement and cataract surgery. Our open evenings are the perfect opportunity for you to come and experience our hospitals first hand – something that you simply cannot do when researching over the internet.

You can find open evenings at Optegra eye hospitals in London, North London, Birmingham, Hampshire, Manchester, Surrey, and Yorkshire. Take a look at our hospitals and clinics page to find the Optegra hospital which is closest to you.

Meet our world-class surgeons

Our laser eye surgery and lens replacement open evenings also give you the perfect chance to put any questions you have to our world-class opthalmic surgeons. Our experienced surgeons are NHS trained, and all of them are Fellows of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists or equivalent organisations, so you can rest assured that you’re in the very best hands. Each consultant has carried out thousands of eye treatment surgeries, and they’ll be happy to answer any queries you may have to help put your mind at ease.

What to expect from an Optegra open evening

Our open evenings are relaxed and informal, giving you the chance to decide for yourself whether our treatments are right for you. After being greeted with complimentary refreshments, you’ll get the opportunity to listen to a talk about our services, given by one of our ophthalmic surgeons. You’ll then be able to ask any questions you may have, as well as taking a tour of the hospital to see our industry-leading facilities first hand. At the end of the evening, you’ll be able to book a consultation if you’d like to, but there is no obligation to do so.
