Epsom lady loving life without glasses

Epsom Crena Millen life without glassesEpsom lady, Crena Millen, had Clarivu at Optegra Surrey Eye Hospital in September 2013.

Crena, 63, says that she appreciates the benefits of Clarivu every day – from the joy of waking up and being able to see her clock, to being able to identify shampoo and conditioner in the shower, to applying make-up. Life is so much easier now she is free of glasses and contact lenses.

She says: ”I had worn contact lenses for around eight years, and while they have helped my vision they were becoming more and more uncomfortable to wear, and I really did not want the inconvenience of having to wear varifocal glasses. I really would prefer not to wear glasses at all, and so I researched options thoroughly and am delighted with my Clarivu experience.

“I found it very reassuring that if you have any concerns, you can go back any time for advice – there is no additional charge. And there was no sales pressure whatsoever.  I had the consultation, found out I was suitable, and then it was entirely up to me to decide, with no pressure at all.

“Everything from the expertise, caring and, kindness of staff, to the luxury of the hospitals, made it a wonderful experience, and I am busy recommending it to all – two friends have had Clarivu already!”

Crena, who is married, enjoys reading and beading – making beautiful pieces of jewellery for her pleasure – all of which is easier now she is free of glasses and contact lenses.
