Optegra, the experts in eye care, is opening its doors to the general public on Thursday 23 June from 6.30pm.
The open evening will offer visitors the chance to tour the eye hospital and find out more about the recently launched Clarivu procedure available at the Optegra Birmingham Eye Hospital.
Ideal for the over 50s, Clarivu, which is a technically advanced development of cataract surgery, can correct both long and short-sightedness and prevents cataracts in one simple, permanent lens replacement procedure.
Consultant Ophthalmic Eye Surgeon, Mr Subramaniam, will be on hand to share his expert knowledge on eye health. Guests will also have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the hospital, consultation and treatment rooms and recovery suite.
Caroline Mchugh, Hospital Manager at Birmingham Optegra Eye Hospital, comments: “This open evening gives people considering eye treatments the chance to speak face to face with an eye surgeon, and see first-hand the hospital in which the procedures are performed. We welcome all people who are interested in finding out more, to come along and speak to our experts.
