Optegra Announces Senior Appointment

Optegra, the leading specialist provider of ophthalmic services in the UK, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of leading ophthalmic surgeon, Mr Rob Morris, as Medical Director.
Mr Rob Morris has been a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Southampton University Teaching Hospital since 1991. He specialises in cataract and refractive surgery (including Refractive Lens Exchange) as well as the management of complex squints. He has a strong commitment to training young doctors and has chaired the Wessex Deanery Education Committee and been Regional Adviser for Wessex for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the past.
Working in laser vision correction since 1994, Rob is a renowned expert in LASIK, LASEK and Wavefront treatments and has worked as a lead surgeon across Optegra’s Surrey and Solent hospitals since their opening. Rob will now provide clinical input into Optegra’s operations and strategic planning as part of his new role as Medical Director.
