Biography

Mr Nicholas Glover is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (London)

He graduated from higher surgical training in Oxford in 2007 and was appointed as the lead for vitreoretinal eye services at University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust the following year, working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Since 2020 he has worked with Optegra as one of their main cataract surgeons. He has performed more than 21,000 procedures and is currently one of the most experienced cataract surgeons in the country.

He is a graduate of University College London, where he completed his medical degree, together with a second degree in medical microbiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

In addition to his specialist training, he completed advanced training fellowships in retinal surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and trauma eye surgery at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
