What is Monofocal Lens Exchange?

This is the standard type of lens replacement treatment where the lens has one ‘point of focus’. Following treatment, the person typically has vision that is good either for distance vision (driving, watching television) or for near vision (reading, working on laptop) but not good for both. This standard lens is known as a ‘monofocal‘ lens.
