- Visit Your Optician or GP – Your local Optician or GP will assess your eyes and refer you for cataract treatment if needed.
- Choose Your Provider – Once your referral is sent, you will be contacted by NHS Eyecare via SMS or letter with a list of approved providers. Select ‘Optegra’. If Optegra is not shown as an option, then ask to be treated at Optegra.
- Telephone Assessment – Our team will then call you to complete a short medical questionnaire, and arrange your first appointment.
