6 reasons why our laser eye surgery is the best in London

With so many laser eye surgery providers available in London, it can be difficult to know which to choose. Here at Optegra, we believe our eye hospitals are the best in the capital, and here’s why…

1. Our eye hospitals are easy to get to

We have eye hospitals in both north and central London, so wherever you’re based in the city you can find a hospital that’s easy for you to get to.

Finding a hospital with great transport links is important, as you won’t be able to drive after having laser eye surgery. Our North London eye hospital is based less than 5 minutes’ walk from Colindale tube station, so it’s easy to get to by public transport, and it also has free parking if you’re being dropped off by a friend.

Alternatively, our central London eye hospital is located just around the corner from London’s famous Harley Street, close to a number of tube stations including Oxford Circus, Bond Street and Regent’s Park, as well as local bus routes.

2. We offer the latest treatments

Our central London eye hospital is one of the few places in the UK where you can have ReLEx SMILE surgery, the latest laser eye treatment available. This innovative treatment is a minimally invasive form of keyhole laser eye surgery which has great benefits including a quick recovery time and a low risk of complications. SMILE eye surgery is available for more patients than LASIK and LASEK, so it’s a great alternative treatment if you’ve previously been turned down for other types of laser eye surgery.

In terms of other treatments, both of our London eye hospitals offer a full spectrum of eye care, including laser eye surgery, lens replacement, cataract surgery and eyelid surgery. We also offer medical treatments for problems such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal detachment and floaters.

3. We have the very best facilities

At Optegra, we understand that the better an eye hospital’s facilities and equipment are, the better the results will be for patients. That’s why our eye hospitals in London feature top of the range facilities and the latest technology. Our central London hospital was opened just over a year ago, and cost £13 million to develop. Everything about this hospital is world class, with a full laser suite, two integrated digital theatres and the very latest diagnostic equipment. You won’t find better facilities anywhere else.

4. Our surgeons are world class

All of Optegra’s ophthalmic surgeons are NHS trained, and are Fellows of the Royal College of Opthalmologists or equivalent organisations, so you can rest assured that you’re in the best possible hands. You’ll also see the same surgeon throughout your treatment, from your initial consultation right through to your aftercare, so you’ll always be treated by someone who understands your individual needs. Your surgeon will put together a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

5. We make laser eye surgery affordable

We know that the cost of laser eye surgery can seem off-putting, so we offer a range of payment options to suit every budget. Your monthly payments could be as little as £29.91 per month, so it really could be more affordable than you think.

If you can afford to put down a 10% deposit of £179.50, you’ll be able to repay the rest over 12 or 24 months with 0% APR. Alternatively, if you can stretch to a 20% deposit of £359, you’ll be able to spread the cost over 48 months interest free, with each payment being just £29.91.

If you can’t afford to pay a deposit at all, that’s not a problem either, as we provide options with nothing to pay upfront. You can choose to repay over 12, 24, 36 or 48 months, with an interest rate of 9.9% APR.

6. We’re the UK’s most trusted eye care provider

We’ve been voted the most trusted eye care provider according to customer reviews on Trustpilot. Whilst many of our competitors have 4 star Trustpilot ratings, ours is 5 star, which really goes to show that we’re a cut above the rest.

Any laser eye surgery provider can tell you how great they are, but it’s the customer reviews that really tell the truth, and we’re really proud of the great laser eye surgery reviews our customers have taken the time to write for us.
