Shafiq Rehman

Starting his carrier in 1994, he completed his higher surgical training which awarded him with his CCST in 2002, after which he soon joined the Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Trust as a substantive NHS consultant.

Always ahead of the curve, Mr Rehman has been at the forefront of introducing numerous breakthrough treatments and encouraging the adaptation of new technologies backed by science, helping patients accessing world-class treatments.

Since leaving the NHS in 2016 to join Optegra Eye Hospitals, he continued pushing innovation forward as well as focusing his practice on Cataract treatments and Vision correction surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a Member of The British Society of Refractive Surgery.
