Every eye consultant is NHS trained and a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCO) and have carried out thousands of eye treatments and surgeries.

In addition to their positions at Optegra, most of our eye surgeons also hold senior advisory and lecturing positions, playing a pivotal role in the training and development of new eye surgeons. Many have made outstanding contributions to the research, development and practice of new eye treatments and techniques.

Oversight and management of our eye consultant team and overall Optegra patient outcomes is provided by our highly qualified Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) in each hospital, which ensures compliance with best practice and all regulatory governance requirements.
